we are the westenborgs

Synopsis:

we are the westenborgs
is a striking portrait of teenage anomie. Filmed during a debaucherous weekend family vacation, Kailee McGee turns the camera on her family and herself, examining the ennui that accompanies adolescence as she follows her three half-siblings through a revelatory drug trip and the attempted return to innocence that follows. The film’s home-movie quality creates an intimacy that highlights the banality at the core of this juvenile degeneracy.
